He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, having many certifications in IT Security Appliances, Switching, Routing, Wireless, IP/PBX, PMP, etc. Currently, Ali Farooq is Heading and leading the Information Technology Department at Cyan Limited and also serving the same position at Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited. Mr. Ali Farooq has been with this Group since August 1996. His overall responsibilities are to oversee the infrastructure of technical and support operations, Domain Management, Mailing and Messaging Administration, Data Storage Service Administration, Managing IT Team, Track Technology to achieve business goals, minimize security risks and increase user satisfaction. His services span across Group associated Companies where he ensures seamless IT Infrastructure, Operations and Support Services. In his spare time, Ali Farooq loves to play cricket for entertainment and is fond of theater. He loves acting and has participated in a multitude of plays organized at Arts Council, Karachi, PACC Karachi, etc.
